I love and hate making small bears, 5 in really is quite large there's some wonderful bear makers out there do 1in and 2in.Personally I think they masochists! They're great for sewing then comes the turning inside out and putting eyes in the size of pin heads and miniscule joints.
They do give you enormous satisfaction when they're done. At Christmas time I have a little tin train which I put them in.It looks really sweet. Have a look in the picture gallery.
